The collection features English
made fully canvassed suits with widened lapels, a lowered notch and to my delight
a raised first button. These features
pay homage to the 1960’s and more specifically the most famous tailor on the Row
at the time, Tommy Nutter…who if you don’t know dressed three of the four
Beatles for their album cover ‘Abbey Road’.
These suits are worn with another major feature to the AW12 collection
which is bright and colourful printed ties.
Below is a selection of photos
from the collection, some of my favourite pieces include the grey four button
double breasted suit, the camel overcoat and my overall favourite look is saved
till last…sublime!
If you’re in London definitely visit
the beautiful store at No.1 Savile Row, a great and inspiring place with
wonderfully friendly staff…A store for the true Gentleman!
