SS12 - Ermenegildo Zegna…

Now I recently tweeted about how much I loved the SS12 collection by Ermenegildo Zegna, so I thought it was only appropriate for the readers of ‘The Bespoke Gentleman’ to see some of my favourite looks.  So onto the reasons why I love this collection, well firstly the colour palette is beautifully simple and unfussy where E. Zegna prominently uses tonal greys, beiges, white and even touches of powder blue.   As you would expect from Ermenegildo Zegna the fabrics are luxurious and all in all to me this collection is clean, elegant and possesses a good measure of simplicity whilst still leaning to a modern slim silhouette…oh and another thing, this collection has an abundance of wearability without being overtly commercial…brilliant.  To end this post I thought I would leave with a statement from the Zegna website - ‘To embrace his passion the modern gentleman needs sartorial excellence’.
