A fashion show for the modern Gentleman...Introducing Doherty Evans and Stott Tailoring

Soo, on the thursday just gone I got the opportunity to attend the first Doherty Evans & Stott fashion show and what a great success the night was.  To those that don't know Doherty Evans & Stott are a luxury menswear tailoring company that offer made to measure suit and shirt services, they are situated within Kendal's department store in Manchester and have been for the last year.

The event was held in a great little location within Manchester's Northern Quarter at Thomas Restaurant and Bar, where they took over the top-floor to showcase the collection.  Complimentary cocktails were awaiting on arrival and then at around 8pm the fashion show began in style with a short film that showcased the brand and inpaticular the face of the brand Matthew Evans.  Then the catwalk show began with models courtesy of Boss model Agency.

Soo onto the clothes and wow they were incredible, I wasn't sure what to expect beforehand and after the show I was really impressed with the suiting, styling, colour combinations, cut of the suits and length of the trousers. It left me thinking that a lot of hard work must have gone into the show.

I think it's great that Manchester has got a tailoring company like Doherty Evans &Stott and that men don't have to travel down to London in need of a good suit.

Anyway enough of me...below are some pictures taken from the night, I wish Doherty Evans & Stott the best of luck for the future and I hope to attend many more of the fashion shows by the trio. Ohh and go into Kendal's and check out their knitted ties they are amazing.

For further information about Doherty Evans & Stott visit them within Kendal's Department Store, Manchester, or online at: www.dohertyevansstott.co.uk

I love the cut on the above trousers...nice and short, I also love the brown penny loafers.
